Vincent T. Brady, founder of Brad-Pak Enterprises and NJPEC Packaging Hall of Fame Inductee, passed away on September 26.
 
Born the youngest of seven children to Edward and Astrid Brady on May 20, 1935, Vince grew up in Bayonne NJ, graduating from Bayonne High, Class of 1954. After serving in the Army, assigned to NATO forces in Naples, Italy, Vince began his career working for various manufacturers and distributors in the cosmetic packaging industry until 1985, when he founded Brad-Pak Enterprises. Originally a one-man show, which has grown successfully over the years under Vince’s watch, it currently employs a full office and warehouse staff along with an outside sales force. During this time, Vince helped to raise his own five children with ex-wife Jean in Roselle Park, saw eight grandchildren born and grow up, and the recent birth of his great-grandson. In his later years Vince moved to Cranford where he lived amongst neighbors he considered family. He was also an avid golfer and long-time member of the Roselle Golf Club where many days were spent enjoying the sport and the company of friends. Vince was always outgoing, gregarious, loved and lived life on his own terms. 
 
Pre-deceased by parents Edward and Astrid, sisters Colette and Eileen, brothers Edward, Leo, Einer, Jerry and daughter Kathleen Zito
 
Survived by daughters Jenifer, Julia and her husband Roy Halbing,and Patricia; and son James; his son-in-law Franco Zito; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson. 
 
Friends are invited to visit 2-4 and 6-9 PM Tuesday. Services 11 AM Wednesday at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford. Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Westfield.
